Privacy Policy
What in-y1.games collects, what it does not, and what you can ask us to do about it. Written to be read rather than to be technically survivable — if anything here is unclear, the contact page reaches the people who wrote it.
Who we are
in-y1.games is an independent affiliate website that publishes a catalogue of, and editorial guides to, the Y1 Game Android application. In data protection terms we are the controller for the small amount of information described in this policy.
We are not the operator of the Y1 Game app. We do not run games, hold player funds, process deposits or withdrawals, or have any access to player accounts, balances, transaction histories or identity documents. Anything you provide inside the app is governed by the operator's own privacy policy, which is a separate document under separate control. This policy covers this website only.
What we collect
Deliberately very little. There are no user accounts on this site, no login, no newsletter and no profile. In practice there are three categories:
Analytics data, only with consent
If you accept analytics cookies in the consent banner, Google Analytics records pages viewed, approximate location at city level derived from a truncated IP address, device and browser type, referring site, and how long you spent on a page. IP anonymisation is enabled, so a full IP address is never stored. If you decline, or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected.
Information you type into the contact form
Name, email address, chosen subject and message body — only when you submit the form yourself. See section 5 for how that is handled.
Standard server logs
Our hosting provider keeps routine access logs — request time, requested path, response code, user agent and IP address — for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing errors. This is ordinary web-server behaviour, applies to every site on the internet, and happens whether or not you accept cookies.
What we never collect
Worth stating explicitly, because this is a gaming-adjacent site and the boundary matters:
- We do not collect, receive or store any Y1 Game account details — no usernames, passwords, player IDs, balances or transaction records.
- We do not process or store payment information of any kind. No card numbers, no UPI IDs, no bank details.
- We do not collect identity documents. Any KYC you complete happens entirely inside the operator's app.
- We do not build advertising profiles, run behavioural retargeting, or sell, rent or trade any information to anyone.
- We do not use fingerprinting, session recording, heatmaps or any technique designed to identify you across sites.
If a message claiming to be from in-y1.games ever asks for a password, an OTP, card details or a copy of your ID, it is not from us. We will never ask for any of those, for any reason.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses two things that touch your browser, and they are not equivalent.
Strictly necessary storage
One entry in your browser's local storage records your cookie choice, so the consent banner does not reappear on every page. It contains a single word — "accept" or "decline" — no identifier, and nothing that could distinguish you from anyone else. It is set regardless of your choice because without it we cannot honour that choice.
Analytics cookies, consent-gated
Google Analytics is loaded in a consent-denied state by default. Its storage remains switched off until you press Accept. If you decline, or simply never respond, it stays off and collects nothing.
To change your mind later, clear this site's data in your browser settings — the banner reappears on your next visit and you can choose again. You may also block cookies entirely at the browser level; the site is designed to work identically either way, and nothing here is hidden behind consent.
Google's own handling of any data it receives is described in its privacy policy. We have configured the integration to anonymise IP addresses and to deny advertising storage in all cases, including after acceptance.
The contact form
The form on our contact page is for editorial correspondence — catalogue corrections, missing titles, broken pages and general questions about the app. Submissions are validated in your browser and delivered to our editorial inbox.
We use what you send only to reply to you and to fix whatever you have told us about. It is not added to any mailing list, is never used for marketing, and is not shared with the operator or any third party.
Please do not send sensitive information through it. Specifically: no passwords, no one-time passwords, no card or bank details, no identity documents, and no full account numbers. There is no situation in which we need any of those, and the form is not the right channel for anything urgent involving money — Telegram support is.
Local storage in your browser
Beyond the cookie choice, this site stores nothing on your device. The games catalogue, its search, its filters and the compare tool all run entirely in your browser from a JavaScript file delivered with the page. Nothing you type into the catalogue search is transmitted anywhere.
Your current filter and sort selection is written into the page's URL so that a filtered view can be bookmarked or shared. That URL lives on your device and is sent nowhere by us unless you choose to share it yourself.
Third-party links
This site links out to a small number of external destinations: the operator's APK download, two Telegram channels, and the helpline organisations listed in our responsible gaming section.
Once you follow any of those links you are on a service we do not control and this policy no longer applies. Telegram, the operator and the helpline organisations each have their own privacy practices, and we would encourage you to read them. We receive no personal information back from any of these services — an affiliate link records that a referral occurred, not who you are.
How long we keep things
- Analytics data: retained in Google Analytics for the shortest period the platform offers, currently 14 months, then deleted automatically.
- Contact form messages: kept while the matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick up a follow-up, then deleted. If you ask us to delete a message sooner, we will.
- Server logs: rotated by our hosting provider on their standard schedule, typically within 30 days.
- Your cookie choice: stays in your browser until you clear this site's data. It never reaches us.
Age restriction — 18+
This site covers real-money gaming and is intended solely for adults aged 18 or over. It is not directed at children, we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and no part of the site is designed to appeal to minors.
If you believe a person under 18 has sent us information through the contact form, tell us and we will delete it immediately without keeping a record of it.
If a minor has access to your device, Android's built-in parental controls, screen-time limits and app-lock features can restrict access to this category of site and app. We would encourage using them.
Your rights
You can ask us to do any of the following, and we will act on it without requiring a reason:
- Access — ask what information we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to fix anything inaccurate.
- Deletion — ask us to delete a contact form message or anything else we hold.
- Withdraw consent — turn off analytics at any time by clearing this site's data and declining when the banner returns.
- Object — object to any processing described here.
Send requests through the contact page. We respond within 30 days, usually much sooner. Because we hold so little, most requests take minutes to action.
For information held by the operator of the Y1 Game app — your account, your balance, your KYC documents, your transaction history — you must contact the operator directly. We have no access to any of it and cannot forward a request on your behalf.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, is static — there is no database and no server-side application to compromise — and holds essentially nothing worth stealing. That is a deliberate design choice rather than an accident: the most reliable way to protect information is not to collect it.
No system is perfectly secure, and we make no absolute guarantee. What we can say is that a breach of this site could not expose gaming account credentials, payment details or identity documents, because we never hold any.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change or when the law requires it. The "last updated" date at the top of the page always reflects the current version, and material changes will be flagged prominently on the site for a reasonable period.
Continuing to use in-y1.games after a change means you accept the updated policy. If you do not, the appropriate response is to stop using the site — and to clear its data from your browser, which removes everything it has ever stored on your device.
Contacting us
Privacy questions, data requests and corrections all go through the contact page. Choose "Something else" as the subject and mention privacy in the message so it reaches the right person quickly.
One last reminder, because it is the single most common source of confusion: for anything concerning your Y1 Game account, deposits, withdrawals, bonuses or verification documents, you need the operator, not us. We have no access to any of it, and directing such a request here only delays you.
See also our Terms & Conditions, which covers the affiliate relationship, the limits of what this site is, and responsible gaming.
